What an Elden Ring randomizer changes

A randomizer reshuffles parts of a game that players normally rely on: enemy placement, item location, or both, depending on the configuration. The map remains recognisable, but recognition is no longer a guarantee of safety or useful loot.

This longer video follows cashewhunter255 and Jackie4333 as they try the format and discover why a random route can make even basic planning feel optimistic.

The start of a short series

The experiment continues in “Elden Ring Randomizer Made Us LOSE OUR MINDS” and “We Played The Elden Ring Randomizer Again…”. Regret, it turns out, was not a stopping condition.
